LG Optimus 3D orange - Enjoy 3D View, Photography & Music Playback!

LG Corporation is going to release a futuristic smart phone this is based on 3D technology. The handset will be marketed as LG Optimus 3D and is expected to be available I the market very soon.

A couple of months back LG has added a new handset in its Optimus family by the name of LG Optimus Me. The handset is not very different from many big branded mobile phones available in the market. But it seems LG Corporation has decided to defeat all the mobile giants by a great margin. In this attempt, the brand is going to launch the first ever 3D smart phone in the market. The handset is going to be a part of LG's Optimus family and hence named as LG Optimus 3D. The handset has been show cased at Mobile World Congress, a few months back and since then it is getting maximum attention by the mobile phone critics.

LG Optimus 3D is armed with many heart throbbing features of 3D technology. Not only the display of the handset is based on 3D technology but its camera feature also works on 3D technology. Let's have a glance over the futuristic features of Optimus 3D.

LG Optimus 3D is a 3G smart phone that is boasted with many astonishing phone features. The handset is expected to be available in the market by the end of Q2, 2011. The overall dimensions of the handset are 128.8 x 68 x 11.9 mm and it weighs only168 grams. It is running Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo) and there is possibility that the upgraded version of the handset will be running Android v2.3, Gingerbread. Instead of single processor, there is dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor for ultra fast processing of multiple applications. Besides, there is PowerVR SGX540 GPU, TI OMAP4430 chipset that helps in lightening fast graphical processing in 3D environment.

By the by, the 3D effect in LG Optimus 3D orange is used in a couple of features. The very first one is the 4.3 inches wide 3D LCD capacitive touchscreen that features LG 3D UI. There are built-in sensors like Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate,Proximity sensor for auto turn-off and Gyro sensor. Second one is the dual 5MP primary cameras that can capture 3D stills as well as record videos. The 3D camera can record videos at 1080p@24fps (2D) and 720p@30fps (3D). third one is the 3D music playback that is 1080p@24fps (2D) and 720@30fps (3D) playback.

The internal memory of the handset is expandable that can e expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The user available memory storage includes 8GB storage with 512 MB RAM. In addition, the handset is sported with SNS integration, document viewer/ editor, multimedia player, internet connectivity, games, A-GPS support and so on.

Service providers have started planing mobile phone deals over Optimus 3D but they haven't revealed them yet. It is expected that Orange is going to be the major network carrier for LG Optimus 3D deals in UK market. So, stay tuned for upcoming LG Optimus 3D to ravish the mobile phone market.
